Introducing the Honda Locate theft recovery device. This device is virtually undetectable by thieves and provides you with peace of mind knowing your vehicle is safe. The device is designed for recovery by waking from deep sleep mode once a day to record your vehicle’s location without transmitting any signals until your next daily health check.

All 180 seaports in North America are equipped with virtual fencing. If a Honda vehicle equipped with a Honda Locate crosses a virtual fence and held at a seaport, the device will send a notification to the recovery team.

Many of today’s stolen vehicles are held inside metal shipping containers. The Honda Locate is the first solution of its kind to function from inside a shipping container. The Honda Locate Range Finder feature allows authorities to pinpoint the precise container containing the stolen vehicle.

With recovery capabilities across North America and working with our partners we provide Honda owners an effective vehicle recovery solution. In the event your vehicle is stolen our expert staff will work directly with local law enforcement to enact your vehicle’s recovery.

Protection for recovered vehicles

If your vehicle is recovered and damaged but not deemed a total loss, you will be reimbursed up to $1,000 for repayment of your primary insurance deductible.

Protection for unrecovered or total loss vehicles

If your vehicle is not recovered within 30 days or is recovered and declared a total loss by your insurance provider, you will receive an allowance of up to $5,000 at the original selling dealer or

any Honda Canada dealership of your choice to be used towards the purchase of a replacement vehicle.
